Foot Power

The hike to the Bear's Hump is a short hike. I had not hiked much over the summer and it was a bit of an effort to make my way to the top. As always, it was a great feeling to sit and admire the beautiful views. The smoke from the forest fires gave the whole scene a different perspective. I composed a few different shots but my favorite shot is this particular picture which shows a part of our hiking shoes. Our own foot power brought us to the top.
